Keystone Announces Keystone Cooperative Day at the Indiana State Fair

For the first time in the cooperative’s history, August 8, 2025 will officially be Keystone Cooperative Day at the Indiana State Fair. Through a partnership between the two organizations, the second Friday of the nearly 3-week event will be a celebration of Indiana agriculture and energy and the people that sustain both. As the proud single-day sponsor, Keystone Cooperative is honored to spotlight its enduring commitment to energy reliability, the cooperative’s farmer-owners, and the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Front and center at Keystone Cooperative Day at the Indiana State Fair will be the co-op’s home heat business, a trusted and efficient solution designed to keep Hoosier homes warm and safe throughout the year. The highlight of Keystone’s State Fair Boulevard display is the chance for fairgoers to win free propane for a year, a valuable opportunity to help reduce one lucky winner’s energy costs.
To express appreciation for its loyal farmer-members, those members in attendance on August 8 will have the opportunity to redeem a $2.00 coupon at any Indiana Pork tent in support of protein production throughout the state.
Keystone is also proud to support Indiana’s youth in agriculture. The first 300 4-H livestock exhibitors who present their Keystone backtag at the Keystone booth in the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion swine barn on August 8 will receive a complimentary pork burger, generously prepared by Indiana Pork. This initiative honors the dedication and hard work of young agriculturalists who are shaping the future of the industry.
With over 854,000 attendees in 2024, the Indiana State Fair remains one of the largest and most cherished state fairs in the country. Keystone Cooperative plays a vital role behind the scenes—fueling the fair’s tractor shuttles with CountryMark Premium Dieselex for smooth, efficient transportation, and powering food vendors with over 90 propane tanks to keep fryers hot and fair favorites like corn dogs and elephant ears sizzling. Keystone also partners with CountryMark to provide the diesel fuel that powers the midway on the grounds, no doubt a main attraction.
