In August 2022, our cooperative lost a deeply respected board member, farmer, and friend, Gregg Alexander. A lifelong advocate for agriculture and rural communities, Gregg’s legacy continues to inspire through the Gregg Alexander Memorial Scholarship, created by his family to honor his passion and service.
The Gregg Alexander Memorial Scholarship stands as a testament to a life well-lived and a future worth investing in. It’s more than financial support, it’s a continuation of Gregg’s belief in the power of community, education, and agriculture.
Because of Gregg’s deep commitment to agriculture and the place he called home, recipients of this $2,000 scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in Purdue University’s College of Agriculture
- Be classified as a senior at the University
- First Preference is then given to students who have graduated from Tipton, Tri-Central, or Clinton Central High Schools
- Second preference is then given to students who are residents of Clinton or Tipton Counties
Two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2025. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2025. The winner will be announced in December 2025.
