100 YEARS IN THE MAKING.
Long before Keystone Cooperative existed, farmers understood a simple truth: they could accomplish more together than they ever could alone.
A century ago, local farmers joined forces to secure the resources they needed to operate their family farms and feed a growing nation. By pooling their buying power, they gained access to essentials like seed potatoes, coal delivered by rail, crop inputs, livestock supplies, and other resources that would have been difficult or costly to obtain individually. The local farmer-owned cooperative became a business built on trust, shared ownership, and a commitment to helping one another succeed.
Today, Keystone stands as the result of a century of courage, leadership, and collective action. Every facility built, every service added, every investment made, and every challenge overcome traces back to farmers who believed in the power of working together.
