Our Top 5 of 2022

As we close in on the end of another year, we find it important to reflect on what made this year outstanding for our cooperative business. This week we present to you the Top 5 of 2022!
5. Performance: We had a record year in performance by our employees which will result in returning $45 million in patronage to our farmer-members in January. In 2021 we were named the number 10 retailer in United States, but in 2022 our performance pushed us up to number 9! We are now the largest local ag retail co-op in the nation.
4. Met the Challenges of 2022: Supply and logistical challenges were plentiful. Whether global events, regional transportation or local weather – all of these things affected how and when we did business. Teams worked diligently to combine synergies, effectively communicate and pool resources to continue to service the customer.
3. Technology: Co-Alliance Connect was launched in 2022 as a groundbreaking way to communicate and partner with cooperative customers. Customers can now view products, place orders, and view and pay invoices in the comfort of their own shop or home. Never before have our customers had full access to all records at the touch of a button. It’s proving to be an incredible resource for customers and employees.
2. Community Investment: Over $500,000 was given back to our local communities in 2022. This dollar amount was invested in rural areas to provide for those in need, whether in ag education, 4-H support, safety training or food security. There is no other company doing business in our area that commits to this amount of support annually. We launched the FFA Proud! partnership with the Indiana FFA and found that increased time with FFA members so valuable. They are the future of our industry! You can find Co-Alliance employees supporting your hometown through volunteer fire department partnerships, in the seats at the county fair auction or serving a food pantry. We give back where it matters to our employees.

But more than that, they value our mission to lead, grow, give and remember. When employees are invested in the mission it shows. We’re so proud of the people of Co-Alliance.
