Support aligns with Keystone’s $12.5 million investment in west central Ohio facility
Keystone Cooperative has announced a $15,000 donation to the Ohio FFA program, marking the cooperative’s first-ever investment of this scale in the state’s youth agricultural leadership network. This contribution reflects Keystone’s commitment to cultivating future agricultural leaders and strengthening the communities where it operates.

The donation aligns with Keystone’s recent $12.5 million investment in its new liquid loadout building and dry fertilizer hub (still being built) in Eldorado, reinforcing the cooperative’s focus on both infrastructure development and the pipeline of young professionals who will lead the ag industry forward.

“Supporting Ohio FFA is an investment in the future of agriculture,” said Kevin Still, CEO of Keystone Cooperative. “As we continue to expand our presence in western Ohio, including our 12.5 million investment in Eldorado, this first-time donation reflects our commitment to the students who will shape the next generation of agricultural innovation.”

Ohio FFA continues to provide high-quality classroom instruction, supervised agricultural experiences, and leadership training to thousands of students across the state. Keystone’s support will help the organization reach more ag teachers and enhance programming at the chapter and state levels.

“Ohio FFA is proud to partner with Keystone Cooperative to present the Teacher Recharge professional development events. This initiative is designed to “recharge” agricultural educators by providing high-quality professional development, curriculum support, and opportunities to connect with industry partners,” said Amy Jo Baughman, Executive Director of the Ohio FFA Foundation.

This investment also supports Keystone’s broader workforce-development efforts. The cooperative’s SEED (Securing Experience & Employee Development) program offers full-time roles to noncollegebound graduates, giving young adults the chance to begin long-term careers in agriculture close to home.

“Through Keystone Cooperative’s generous support, Ohio FFA is able to invest in educators who are preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders and strengthening the future workforce of Ohio agriculture,” continued Baughman.
